Join a celebration of love…

Wise Words is bringing the first Gong Bath celebration into Canterbury.

Lying down in the magical garden tent, wrapped up in comfy blankets and cocoon our bodies with sonic vibrations. Come and join a celebration of love, towards oneself and all beings.

Gongs have been used as celebratory instruments for thousands of years. So much more than just an old shamanic tool, the Gong produces harmonic and dissonant tones that made it the centre piece of the tradition of sound healing.

Using gongs, Tibetan bowls, shamanic percussions and many other ambient instruments, multi-instrumentalist Simone Salvatici will provide the most nourishing gong bath that enables you to experience the sense of love and contentment.

Before you get to hear the way of the Gong, Canterbury-based yoga teacher and Wise Words veteran Cass Xuxin will lead you through a deep body awareness relaxation.

Simone Salvatici is multi-instrumentalist composer and performer, influential within the Experimental, Minimalist and Ambient genre. He studied with Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux, also at the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST).
