Helen Seymour goes for a wander around a hospital and discovers things aren’t quite as they seem. This surreal debut involves a badger. Please come or else Helen will be sad.

About Helen Seymour

Helen is a spoken word artist from Canterbury who has done many things, a few of them quite snazzy, some of them not so much, but either way they’re all in the past now so let’s not focus on them too much. Her stuff is surreal and sometimes odd, but always with a clear narrative structure. Moles driving ambulances, that kind of thing. It’s sometimes quite dark, not always though, that would be awful. She doesn’t really understand why she’s writing in the third person, she guesses it’s because that’s what most other people do, but that’s not her approach to writing and performing, so she doesn’t know why it’s her approach to profiles. She will stop now. I’m currently working on my first 50 minute spoken word show “To Helen Back”. All going well, it will be the snazziest of all the snazzy things I’ve ever snazzed upon.
