Andrew Motion, the former Poet Laureate reads from his stunning new collection Customs House. The book is in three sections, and opens with a sequence of war poems, Laurels and Donkeys, which draws on soldiers’ experiences from the First and Second World war, through to the recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He also reads from The Cinder Path (Faber), shortlisted for the Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry, and answers questions about his writing.

Followed by book signing.
