Short Stories and tea with Jane Gardam | 3:15pm - 4:15pm

In the autumn, a Collection of Short Stories by Jane Gardam will be published. Those of you who have read her stories will know what a treat we are in for. At a Few Wise Words Jane will be talking about and reading from this collection.

Jane Gardam, O.B.E., distinguished novelist and short story writer, is one of only two authors from Great Britain recently shortlisted for the first and very prestigious Folio Society English Language literary prize open to writers from around the world.

In September last year Jane, who is our patron, read from ‘Last Friends’, the last of her highly acclaimed trilogy which deals with the entangled lives of three extraordinary characters. We are proud and delighted to welcome her back to A Few Wise Words.
