Wise Words for Wellbeing are weekly poetry workshops during which participants read, discuss and write poems and stories that can help on life’s journey.
Increasingly, poetry is being used to promote and sustain health and wellbeing. Reading and reflecting on poems – and writing in response – is a way of connecting with the self and others at a profound level.
No experience is needed and you can participate as much or as little as you wish. Service Users are welcome.
These workshops are led by trained poetry therapist, Victoria Field.
When: Every Friday between 2pm -4pm
Where: The Community Room, Beaney House of Art and Knowledge, High Street, Canterbury
Booking: Drop in – no booking necessary but there is a maximum of 15 spaces per week.
