We are delighted to announce Quinn Estates as a principle Festival sponsor

Many of you know that we are lucky enough to call the stunning Cowshed Studios our home – a beautiful barn in Bridge from where we run a small artist community. Quinn Estates have been our neighbours on the farm since the beginning and have recently also become our friend and a principle sponsor of the Festival.

The story begins three years ago when, fed up with working from home, we sent out a tweet saying we needed a space from which to work. HICO, the owners of Highland Court Farm offered us a barn with Wifi and have supported us ever since.

From the start, it was obvious that there was an exciting ambition to transform the farm into a thriving centre of creativity – a place that would house and support artists, craftsman and local food producers. We have seen  The Night Yard, a dilapidated courtyard, transformed into the most exquisite outdoor venue for weddings and cultural events and small businesses like the Farmhouse Kitchen and Oak and Rope, thrive and grow.

Within the last few months HICO and Quinn Estates have initiated a joint venture with the ambition to create an outstanding mixed use development of unrivalled quality that will include holiday and retirement homes, sports facilities, all centred around an artisan food and drink hub. As an arts community at the heart of this development we are incredibly excited about these plans and the potential for them to help the local creative community to thrive and grow.

As partners, Quinn Estates are supporting the development of our space at the farm in Bridge – plans that will enable us to welcome more artists into our community. It is important for us that our studios are filled with a artists from a range of creative backgrounds but who share a willingness to work collaboratively, to swap skills and expertise so that together we are stronger than the sum of our parts.

Inspired by the quality of artists that we attract and our ambition to stay rooted within the community, Quinn Estates offered to become a principle sponsor of Wise Words this year. We are delighted to welcome them as partners and are looking forward to how this partnership will develop.
