“Alexander Vellis makes the epic sound intimate, and searches for beauty in the ugly corners. His work is free verse, hip hop inspired, nuanced spoken word that works as easily on the page as it does in the mouth. A gifted poet.” Joelle Taylor
“I enjoy Alex’s honest, accessible, and well-written poetry, which is delivered with an authentically friendly stage presence.” Dan Simpson
